“…These practical pieces of evidence demonstrate the availability of bamboo forest healthcare as an important forest resource model. Studies have confirmed the nutritional edible and medicinal capacity of bamboo plants, which contain steroids, terpenoids, tannins, flavonoids, polyphenols, alkaloids, glycosides, and phytosterols [13,14] that can be antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and anticancer [8,15,16]. However, existing studies focus on extracting ingredients and natural flavors in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.…”

“…It is thick and solid with the potential to be a good building material. However, in recent years, research on B. arundinaceae has been mainly focused on the medical field [20][21][22], with less research on its mechanical properties and distribution patterns of vascular bundles. The absence of essential engineering data poses a challenge that must be addressed to utilize this particular species of bamboo as a structural or construction material.…”

“…The burnt form of the Bambusa arundinacea root is potentially effective against ringworm, bleeding gums, and painful joints (Singh and Jawaid, 2012). The seeds are known to be acrid, laxative and effective in urinary discharge (Zihad et al, 2018). The bark of this tree possesses many dermatological properties (Pandey et al, 2018).…”
