Abstract:Phytoremediation is a plant-based approach involving use of plants to extract and remove elemental pollutants or lower their bioavailability in soil. Thus, this study aimed at assessing the phytoremediation potential of Vigna unguiculata grown in heavy metal contaminated soil.
