Abstract:Charmonium production associated with a photon in coherent hadron-hadron interactions at high-energy colliders is a suitable observable to test the partonic density function in the proton and in nuclei. We employ nonrelativistic quantum chromodynamics to investigate the transverse momentum distribution and total cross sections of J/ψ + γ production at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and the electron-ion collider (EIC). Our results show that discrimination can be made to test the parameters for the matrix eleme… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
