Association between Anemia Severity and Ischemic Stroke Incidence: A Retrospective Cohort Study

Abstract: Stroke patients presenting with anemia at the time of stroke onset had a higher risk of mortality and development of other cardiovascular diseases and comorbidities. The association between the severity of anemia and the risk of developing a stroke is still uncertain.
