“…However, according to Krishnasam [20], the concentrations of MGO are already known to be significantly higher in GDM women compared with the MGO values in normal pregnant women. In that study, the reported absolute values differed compared to ours, although this may be ascribed to differences in the method, as Krishnaman et al employed a diverse commercial ELISA methodology [20]. Our study population was represented only by Caucasian women due to the usual referrals to the hospital involved.…”
