Association of age and gender distribution in patients having class II caries resulting in root canal treatment in lower premolars and molars

Abstract: Caries or cavities is a breakdown of teeth due to acids made by bacteria. Individual tooth surfaces have different susceptibilities to caries which vary over time. Progress of caries towards the pulp leads to damage to the pulp. Caries 2 caries involve proximal surfaces of posterior teeth.
