Association of CYP2A6 gene deletion with cancers in Japanese elderly: an autopsy study

Abstract: Background CYP2A6 is an enzyme involved in oxidation of a number of environmental chemicals, including nicotine, pro-carcinogenic nitrosamines and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs).
