Abstract:Prediabetes is a risk factor for ischemic stroke in atrial fibrillation (AF) patients, yet, its impact on recurrent stroke in AF patients remains understudied. Using the 2018 National Inpatient Sample, we investigated the link between Prediabetes and recurrent stroke in AF patients with prior stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA).
