Abstract: Stromal cell-derived factor-1 (SDF-1) and its receptor CXC chemokine 4 (CXCR4) have been demonstrated to play critical roles in diabetic retinopathy (DR). This study investigated whether single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of SDF-1 and its receptor CXCR4 are correlated with diabetic retinopathy (DR).
