Abstract: BackgroundSerum ferritin (SF) is clinically found to be elevated in many disease conditions, and our research examines serum ferritin in patients with acute kidney injury (AKI) and its implication on the risk of short-term mortality in AKI.MethodsData were extracted from the Medical Information Mart for Intensive Care IV 2.2 (MIMIC-IV 2.2) database.
