Association of the CCR5 gene with type 1 diabetes mellitus

Abstract: Aim of the study. To elucidate the association between the polymorphous marker A/del132 of the CCR5 gene with type 1 diabetes mellitus. Materials and methods. The study included 177 patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus (DM1) and 408 healthy subjects (ethnic Russians).
