Abstract:Aim. To determine the frequency of TP53 polymorphic variants in bladder cancer patients and define possible association of this polymorphism with a bladder cancer in Ukrainians patients. Methods. The genotypes of TP53 gene at codon 72 were detected by PCR with allele specific primers. We investigated Arg72Pro polymorphism in 114 DNA samples of patients with bladder cancer.
