Abstract:A case of tricuspid valve endocarditis in an AIDS patient, an intravenous drug user, initially empirically unsuccessfully treated as a Staphylococcus aureus infection, and thereafter turned to be, most likely, of Mycobacterium tuberculosis etiology is presented.
