Abstract:The purpose of this review was to find an answer to the question: “Is there an association of adipokines (adiponectin, adipsin, interleukin-6, lipocalin-2, PAI-1, resistin, MCP-1, leptin, TNF-α, visfatin, omentin-1) with coronary artery disease and abdominal obesity in people under 65 years of age?”.
