Abstract: Chromatin, the nucleoprotein complex consisting of DNA and histone proteins, plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression by controlling access to DNA. Chromatin modifications are key players in this regulation, as they help to orchestrate DNA transcription, replication, and repair.
