Abstract:Background The predisposition toward gastrointestinal disease is increasing as a result of dietary changes and overindulgence in food preparation. Ninety percent of stomach cancers are adenocarcinomas, a type of cancer of the gastrointestinal tract that is the leading cause of mortality worldwide.
