“…The prevalence of allergic diseases and asthma has been rising in recent decades, reaching 5% of the adult, and 10% of the child and teenage population in Poland. Asthma is the most common disease complicating pregnancy, which affects 12% of pregnant women [1], and may lead to poor maternal and neonatal outcomes, especially in severe, uncontrolled, or inappropriately managed cases [2]. Likewise, pregnancy, by leading to multiple changes in the organism, influences the course of asthma.…”
