Abstract:PurposeThis paper investigates the asymmetric connectedness among the Indian stock market, crude oil price, gold price and the USD–INR exchange rate.Design/methodology/approachWe construct a nonlinear autoregressive distributed lag model that contains the four aforementioned variables.
