Abstract

Hydroxycarboxylic acids (ether carboxylic acids) and esters Q 0450Asymmetric Reduction of β-Ketonitriles with a Recombinant Carbonyl Reductase and Enzymatic Transformation to Optically Pure β-Hydroxy Carboxylic Acids.-The reaction of a large variety of aromatic substrates affords the products with nearly complete enantioselectivity.
