Abstract:Background: Bilateral Internal Carotid Artery Occlusion (BICAO) is an extremely rare pathological entity which have grave prognosis. It is responsible for 0.4% of completed strokes. Asymptomatic BICAO remains exceptional. Case report: We present a case of a 72-year-old man with asymptomatic bilateral internal carotid artery occlusion associated with stenosis of the right external carotid artery.
