Abstract:In this article, we are concerned with the asymptotic stability of the rarefaction wave for the one-dimensional isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes-Korteweg equations under initial perturbations, which tend to spaceperiodic functions at infinities. It is shown that the solution of the onedimensional isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes-Korteweg equations tends to background rarefaction wave as time tends to infinity, provided that the initial perturbation and strength of the rarefaction wave are suitably sm… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
