Abstract:The variation in ATIII activity in the post prostatectomy period is examined by the Authors and is correlated with pulmonary embolism. Type of anaesthesia, blood transfusion and modality of blood transfusion (autotransfusion V/S homologous transfusion) were the parameters considered.
