Abstract:Conventional photocurrents at a p-n junction depend on macroscopic built-in fields and are typically insensitive to the microscopic details of a crystal's atomic configuration. Here we demonstrate how atomic configuration can control photocurrent in van der Waals (vdW) heterostructures.
