Abstract:Nonpharmacologic treatments of atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter potentially offer therapy, sparing patients the long‐term risks of antiarrhythmic drug therapy. For patients with typical atrial flutter, contemporary catheter ablation techniques afford cure rates in excess of 85%.
