Attenuation of a Turkeypoxvirus field strain as an alternative to heterologous vaccination in turkeys

Abstract: Avian pox can severely impact turkey production systems. Vaccination programs in Mexico use commercially available Fowlpoxvirus vaccines, that are used across different bird species.
