Polygon similarity can play an important role in geographic information retrieval, map matching and updating, and spatial data mining applications. Geographic information science (GIS) represents various spatial objects as polygons, including simple polygons and polygons with holes, as well as multipolygons. Spatial objects of multipolygons possess complex structure which makes it difficult to assess their similarity. This study develops a method based on convex hulls and position graphs to measure the similarity between multipolygons. The proposed method first finds correspondences between subpolygons in the two multipolygons based on a control polygon. Thereafter, the method constructs a position graph to denote the distribution of these subpolygons and applies a turning function to compute the similarity between various graphs. Fourier transformation and moment invariants were combined to characterize the different matching relationships among subpolygons. The experiments involve three different kinds multipolygons to verify the effectiveness and robustness of proposed method. The experiments show that this approach effectively measures similarity between multipolygons. Moreover, the proposed method accounts for the relationships across the entire complex geometrical shape and components of multipolygon during measuring similarity.

Real-world applications now deal with a massive amount of data, and information about the world is inaccurate, incomplete, or uncertain. Therefore, we present in our paper a proposed model for solving problems. This model is based on the class of locally generalized closed sets, namely, locally simply* alpha generalized closed* sets and locally simply* alpha generalized closed** sets (briefly,GC ÃÃ -sets), based on simply* alpha open set. We also introduce various concepts of their properties and their relationship with other types, and we are studying several of their properties. Finally, we apply the concept of the simply* alpha open set to illustrate the importance of our method in decision-making for information systems about the infections of Coronavirus in humans. In fact, we were able to decide the impact factors of Coronavirus infection. The results were also programmed using the MATLAB program. Therefore, it is recommended that our proposed concept be used in future decision-making.

Accuracy based on simply* alpha open set in rough set and topological space

Real-world applications now deal with enormous amounts of data, especially in the area of high dimensional features. In the present study, we provide an approach for the rough set which is simply* alpha open set (briefly, S MÃ Àa open set). This approach was used to introduce a new concept of separation axioms, from which fundamental properties and theorems of preservation were studied. The relationship between basic properties and preservation theorems was also discussed. New near continuous function definitions have also been developed and their characteristics have been discussed. Through an application presented in the work, the relationship between the simply* alpha open set and near continuous function was justified. The simply* alpha open set was studied by the rough set and accordingly new accuracies were obtained. Moreover, an accurate proposal was examined, which competes with that of the methods of Yao and Pawlak. To obtain the results, MATLAB software has been used.
