“…Intelligent teaching environment construction research focuses on infrastructures(Hou et al , 2020), such as cloud-based environments (Bajaj and Sharma, 2018; Stoica et al , 2018), IoT (Anttila and Jussila, 2018; Chi et al , 2018), smart classrooms (Huang et al , 2019; Saini and Goel, 2019) and an intelligent library (Asemi et al , 2020). Intelligent teaching research focuses on how intelligent technologies enhance traditional teaching methods, such as mobile and web application-based multimedia teaching systems (El Janati et al , 2018; Kim et al , 2018; Robles and Quintero, 2020; Suswanto et al , 2017), and virtual reality or augmented reality technologies (Andaluz et al , 2019; Jiang and Zeng, 2019; Wang, 2020). After analysing 47 journal papers, Roll and Wylie (2016) pointed out that there are two directions for the research of educational intelligence: one is the gradual process, focussing on the current classroom practice and studying the classroom teaching application of technology, and the other is a revolutionary process, which advocates integrating new technologies into students' daily lives and supporting students' culture, practice and social interaction.…”
