Abstract: Poly(ethylene 2,6‐naphthalate) (PEN) and poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) composite fibers reinforced with a thermotropic liquid crystal polymer (TLCP) were prepared by the melt blending and spinning process to achieve high performance fibers with improved processability.
