Author’s response to Shariff et al. [1]: Basic errors in couple-stress hyperelasticity articles

Abstract:provided some additional comments, which the present author considers and addresses separately in Part B, to the best of his current knowledge. This is because he considers that the Cosserat theory of elasticity, in general, and its branch known as couple-stress theory, in particular, are still subjects in development and may thus still lead to unexpected and, perhaps, surprising results and discoveries.
