Autism and Medical Comorbidities

Abstract: Individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) are at an increased risk for medical comorbidities which often remain undetected and negatively impact their developmental progress. These include gastrointestinal disorders, oral health problems, sleep disorders, and epilepsy.
