ICLI is an annual International Conference on Learning Innovation (ICLI) hosted by Universitas Negeri Malang, Indonesia in collaboration with the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and Indonesian Consortium for Learning Innovation Research (ICLIR) as well as Univerisiti Teknologi MARA Cawangan Perlis, Malaysia serving as co-organizer this year. The conference aims to gather researchers, practitioners, students, experts, consultants, teachers and lecturers to share their insights and experiences on research not only in constructing innovations in learning but also the knowledge of learner's capability. The learners who are characterized as creative and competent by having the ability to understand what they have learned and capable of taking initiative and thinking critically. In addition, ICLI is organized on the basis of the trend in the 21st century, categorized by the increasing complexity of technology and the emergence of a corporate restructuring movement.This book is the proceeding of ICLI 2021, containing a selection of articles presented at this conference as the output of the activity. Various topics around education are covered in this book and some literature studies around specific topics on learning and education are covered as well. This proceeding book will be beneficial to students, scholars, and practitioners who have a deep concern in education. This article deals with current issues of modern pedagogical practices incorporated in Special and Inclusive Education and touches upon Social Stories as a supplementary powerful learning tool especially in cases of children with autism and other similar communication deficits. According to our literature review, Social Stories better respond to the needs and abilities of the children personality regardless of their age by presenting a considerable amount of social information and best describing social schemata and situations. Also, they provide guidance for socially appropriate attitudes and behaviors, encouragement and support in learning and educational setting, both verbally and visually supported. To set the theoretical frame of this topic, an overview of social constructivism theory and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology are provided. Moreover, what is also under discussion in this article relates to the new digital challenges that have lately emerged after the combination of Social Stories with ICTs. Children with autism often have difficulty interacting socially and understanding applicable social norms. Therefore, appropriate behavior modification strategies are needed to help autistic children overcome food-grabbing behavior and learn how to interact better socially. This research aims to use shaping techniques to change the behavior of autistic students who often grab other people's food. This research involves the use of tablet media as a tool to provide intervention. The research subjects in this study were autistic students who tended to snatch other people's food. This research uses the Single Subject Research method with an A-B design. Data in this research was collected through audio documentation, photos, videos, and written documentation. The data was then analyzed using within-condition analysis and between-condition analysis. The research results show that the shaping Technique using tablet media effectively changes the behavior of autistic students who often grab other people's food. By using shaping techniques, autistic students can understand that snatching other people's food is not right and can control themselves not to do it. It shows that the use of behavior modification techniques using tablet media can help autistic students overcome unwanted behavior.
