Autoimmune enteropathy in adults

Abstract: Autoimmune enteropathy (AIE) is one of the differential diagnoses of chronic intractable diarrhea, malnutrition, and weight loss. This mixed-type diarrhea with protein-losing enteropathy usually involves the small intestine but gastric and colonic involvements are not rare.
