An industrial water pump importing company relies on a network of distribution warehouses to efficiently manage the storage and delivery of its products to clients. This paper delves into the operational intricacies of the company, with a primary focus on sustaining a superior level of service to meet customer demands, all while attempting to minimize costs and achieve optimal inventory control. The central aspects explored in this research encompass the meticulous determination of the number of pipes needed and the optimal ordering times. To address this, the Probabilistic Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method is used and supported by 5S concept, recognized for its ability to provide reasonably accurate estimates crucial for pivotal decision-making in inventory management. The utilization of the Probabilistic EOQ method in this context reflects the company’s commitment to adopting sophisticated and proven methodologies to enhance decision-making accuracy and the warehouse area is more suitable by the 5S implementation principles. The research outcomes not only assist in refining the determination of Safety Stock levels but also contribute valuable insights into the precise quantities of goods that should be ordered. This strategic approach aligns with the company’s overarching goal of achieving cost-efficiency without compromising on the ability to efficiently meet customer demands. These upcoming insights could encompass innovative strategies, technological implementations, or advances in supply chain optimization.

Gudang atau warehouse berperan penting dalam sistem logistik suatu industri atau perusahaan. Namun demikian, pengetahuan tentang healthcare warehouse yang telah dikembangkan dalam beberapa tahun terakhir masih kurang. Untuk itu, maka artikel ini menyajikan integrated literature review pertama tentang healthcare warehouse melalui pencarian di penyimpanan dari basis data Scopus. Dengan menelusuri setiap artikel terkait dengan topik tersebut, didapatkan 24 artikel yang diterbitkan dari tahun 2013-2022 dan diklasifikasikan menjadi dua topik utama: goods warehouse sebanyak 4 artikel, dengan fokus healthcare yang terdapat pada fasilitas kesehatan, dan data warehouse sebanyak 20 artikel, yang memiliki fokus pada healthcare berisi berbagai jenis data, contohnya rekam medis, barang, dan data penyakit tertentu. Semua pengetahuan yang ada dalam studi ini dirangkum sehingga pembaca (baik akademisi maupun praktisi) dapat dengan mudah mengakses kontribusi utama dan informasi yang ada dalam setiap studi.

The automations in smart appliances play a vital role. The evolution of automation is the adoption of smart machines and appliances for industrial and domestic purposes. This helps to obtain smart home. They are implemented through artificial intelligence with optimization techniques. To replace the convention washing machine, the proposed system is introduced. This is functioned through adopting artificial intelligence to operate automatically through various devices. The smart washing machine is designed through machine learning techniques with sensors. This helps to adopt a newer way in washing that helps to reduce energy consumption through estimating the power utility. This is accompanied with automatic drying techniques. The system is completely automatic to perform the washing process. It is enhanced through internet of things to enable the two way communication system. The smart meter is used to record the energy consumption. The efficiency and performance parameter are higher when compared to conventional washing machines. Thus the proposed system enhances automation in washing machines with automatic drying and estimates the amount of energy consumption.
