Abstract:Centre-of-gravity (c.g.) of combat aircraft suffers significant lateral deviation due to asymmetric release of stores, leading to a highly nonlinear and coupled dynamics. Additional nonlinearity and coupling result when the aircraft attempts some supermanoeuvres under such conditions rendering nonlinear control implementation unavoidable. However, such controls depend on accurate onboard c.g information. The present paper proposes a novel neural network aided sliding mode based hybrid control scheme which does… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
