Avaliação da qualidade da assistência à saúde em clínicas-escola de Odontologia e Fonoaudiologia

Abstract

The present study focused on evaluating the quality of health care offered by a public institution of higher education, including the areas of Dentistry and Speech-Language Pathology, in the User Satisfaction Survey of the National Health Services Evaluation Program. The sample consisted of 90 individuals attended in the clinics of the Faculty of Dentistry of Bauru, being 64 in Dentistry and 26 in the Speech Therapy clinic.Items that have been checked are: agility in scheduling; agility in care; host; confidence; ambience; marks of humanization; expectation about the service; user satisfaction. Two questionnaires were used: socioeconomic to describe the users' profile and the satisfaction questionnaire. Simple Linear Regression and Multivariate Linear Regression were performed (p <0.05). The results showed that satisfaction with the quality of care offered was good and very good in the majority. Highlights in quality were waiting time for the first consultation, waiting time to be attended, ease of location of the clinic, attendance of the reception and the health team, safety and reliability during care. Users were satisfied with the quality of health care offered in both Dentistry and Speech Therapy, especially with the humanization, reception and treatment.
