“…2 In addition to impairment of the quality of the vaccine, failures in maintaining the cold chain generates a considerable increase in the costs of the National Immunization Programs caused by the unnecessary losses of vaccines. [3][4] The maintenance of the cold chain for the conservation of the immunobiological aims to protect the vaccines of inactivation for the exposure to the low or elevated temperatures, which can result in losses of the power, compromising its final effect of immunization, besides increasing the risk of adverse event post-vaccination.
