Avaliação do processo de secagem ao ar livre da madeira de jatobá na Amazônia

Abstract: Objetivou-se avaliar o processo de secagem da madeira de jatobá (Hymenaea courbaril L.) ao ar livre. Para determinar a umidade inicial da madeira confeccionaram-se amostras das extremidades de tábuas. Para o acompanhamento da umidade da madeira utilizou-se quatro amostras controle, distribuídas de forma sistemática na pilha de madeira construída com dimensões de 150 cm x 25 cm x 85 cm (comprimento x altura x largura).
