Abstract:In the present study, species diversity, status of population, and food preferences were assessed for coastal birds from Jamdulwadi Island Village, Dist. -Sindhudurg, Maharashtra, India. Birds were surveyed in different localities for one year (from January 2022 to December 2022). A total of 31 species of birds representing 10 orders, 20 families and 30 genera were recorded in the present study.
