Abstract: BackgroundPatient medication knowledge and health literacy affect patient safety. Taking angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACE-i) or angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs), with diuretics and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDs) is nephrotoxic.
