Awareness and management of intra-abdominal hypertension and abdominal compartment syndrome by paediatric intensive care physicians: a national survey

Abstract: Intra-abdominal hypertension (IAH) and abdominal compartment syndrome (ACS) are not rare in paediatric patients; the incidence of IAH in this population varies between 12.7% and 20% and it is associated with high morbidity and mortality [1,2].
