Awareness of breast cancer among adolescent girls in Colombo, Sri Lanka: a school based study

Abstract: BackgroundBreast cancer is the commonest cancer in women worldwide. Although programmes promoting breast cancer awareness are being carried out throughout Sri Lanka, few have targeted school students.
