Abstract: To the Editor: Axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) is characterized by sacroiliac joint inflammation, spine inflammation, bone destruction, and osteogenesis. Ankylosis of the spine and/or hip joints may occur later, significantly affecting the patient's quality of life.
