Axisymmetrical Stress and Strength Analysis of Epoxy-Steel Composite Cylinders under Torsional Loads

Abstract: Epoxy-Steel composites have been used widely for lightening and strengthening mechanical structures. This paper deals with the stress analysis and strength estimation of epoxy-steel composite joint in which a hollow cylinder (epoxy) is fitted at the outside surface of a solid cylinder (steel) subjected to torsional loads.
