Introduction:
Among the Kshudra Kustha, Vicharchika exhibits symptoms such as Kandu (itching), Shrava (discharge), and Shyava Varna (blackish discoloration). Vicharchika is one among the Kshudra Kustha, which continues for a long period and has a propensity for aggravation. Most often, Vicharchika patients who do not respond well to contemporary medical care seek treatment from Ayurveda, hoping for a complete recovery from their illness.
Materials and Methods:
An 85-year-old male patient with signs and symptoms corresponding to Vicharchika was treated with Shamana Aushadhis (palliative therapy).
Result:
A remarkable improvement in the condition was observed in a span of 21 days.
