“…This finding is consistent with Biglarian et al, Henn et al, Meucci et al, as they reported a high prevalence of LBP in married men and women. [13][14][15] Our observation is also in conformity with the cause and relationship of Low back pain associated with active marital life mentioned by the Unani physicians such as Ibn-e-Sina, Zakariya Razi, Ismail Jurjani, Akbar Arzani in their treatise, that active sexual life is one of the causes of LBP. 13,[16][17][18][19] Out of 20 patients, the highest incidence of LBP was observed in upper-lower (IV) class i.e., 9 (45%) patients.…”

“…So far, there are still many differences in estimations of the prevalence of chronic LBP in Western World, which typically ranges between 15% and 30% of the adult population . The most current data by Henn et al for the prevalence of back pain in Poland show that a total of 22.6% reported to have often or very often pain episodes. Ihlebaek et al reported that the prevalence of LBP is higher in the Swedish area (18.2%) than in the Norwegian (13.4%), and it was found a significant difference for men in the age group 31–45 years.…”

“…However, the odds of 8–30 days or > 30 days of DBP (relative to 0 days) were significantly higher in women in the multivariable regression analysis. Most national and international studies identified women to be more frequently affected by any type of back pain [1, 3, 1214, 18, 20, 22]. A variety of potentially interacting biological (e.g.…”
