Back to the roots, desiccation and radiation resistances are ancestral characters in bdelloid rotifers

Abstract: Background Bdelloid rotifers are micro-invertebrates distributed worldwide, from temperate latitudes to the most extreme areas of the planet like Antarctica or the Atacama Desert.
