Abstract: Bacterial cellulose (BC) is produced via the fermentation of various microorganisms. It has an interconnected 3D porous network structure, strong water‐locking ability, high mechanical strength, chemical stability, anti‐shrinkage properties, renewability, biodegradability, and a low cost.
