Bacterial cellulose to reinforce urethrovesical anastomosis. A translational study

Abstract: The absence of extrusion, stenosis or urinary fistula after 14 weeks of urethrovesical anastomosis demonstrates cellulosic exopolysaccharide membrane biocompatibility and biointegration with tendency to a thicker wall.
