Bacterial community structure and mucin drive Pseudomonas aeruginosa diversification and pathoadaptation

Abstract: While several environmental factors contribute to the evolutionary diversification of the pathogenic bacterium Pseudomonas aeruginosa during cystic fibrosis lung infections, relatively little is known about the impact of the surrounding microbiota.
