“…As tuberculosis remains common in South Korea, the treatment was initiated when the pathological findings suggested the possibility of tuberculosis (e.g., chronic granulomatous inflammation with caseous necrosis), even without a clear microbiological confirmation (31). Fever is absent in 30 to 40% of older adult patients with pneumonia 12 ) .
